Registered Nurse - Operating Room

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shifts from 06:45 to 17:15, working 4x10-hour shifts. Call required every 6 to 7 weeks, including weekends and one weeknight per week.

Job Description

Join a dynamic surgical team dedicated to providing high-quality perioperative care in a fast-paced environment. As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care during various surgical procedures, including gynecology, orthopedics, general surgery, and more.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and maintain patient safety protocols.
• Assist with patient positioning, transferring, and surgical preparation.
• Participate in pre-operative assessments and post-operative care.
• Work collaboratively with surgical teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Implement and adhere to infection control policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various surgical procedures, including gynecology and general surgery.
