Registered Nurse - Operating Room (Day Shift)

Day shifts available, working 4x10 hours from 06:45 to 17:15.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various surgical procedures, including gynecological, orthopedic, general, and robotic surgeries. The role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality surgical care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a range of surgical procedures across multiple specialties.
• Administer blood & blood products, ensuring infection control and safety protocols.
• Handle specimens according to established guidelines.
• Conduct urinary bladder catheterization and manage patient wounds effectively.
• Participate in universal protocol and time-out procedures prior to surgeries.
• Engage in continued education and stay updated on best practices within the operating room.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is necessary.
