Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care by planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plans of care based on ongoing assessments.
• Initiates assessments based on patient problems or needs, the physician's diagnosis, and functional health framework.
• Performs therapeutic nursing interventions and manages patient care.
• Documents care according to standards of practice and patient acuity.
• Advocates for evidence-based practice and supports innovations in care delivery.
• Provides patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience in a MS/Tele unit in a major acute care hospital setting required.
• Strong background in MS/Tele.
• Required Licenses & Certifications: RN, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, Telemetry, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
