RRT-NICU Respiratory Therapist

Night shift, 4x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

The RRT-NICU Respiratory Therapist will provide critical care for neonates requiring advanced respiratory support in a Level 3 NICU setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex respiratory therapies and will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care for infants.

Responsibilities

• Assist in high-risk deliveries and provide immediate respiratory support.
• Administer aerosol treatments and medication delivery systems.
• Perform intubation, extubation, and other airway management procedures.
• Manage various ventilator modes and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a Level 3 NICU or 1 year in a PICU.
• Current BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT, and state licensure required.
