Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Schedule

Day 4x10-Hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:30.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will primarily assist in CT and MRI procedures, focusing on cardiac procedures, MRGFUS, and sedation. Experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab is beneficial. The unit may offer flexible scheduling options, accommodating 3x12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with Coronary CTA and MRGFUS procedures.
• Monitoring sedation and ensuring patient safety.
• Providing IV support and managing contrast allergy monitoring.
• Administering medications, including emergency and antiarrhythmic agents.
• Care and maintenance of implanted ports and PICC lines.
• Obtaining 12 lead EKG/ECG as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of experience in nursing, with a preference for Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are preferred.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system is required.
