Day shift; Monday to Friday, from 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM.

Job Description

The General Cardiology Medical Assistant will primarily support cardiology clinic operations, managing patient flow and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patient rooming, vital signs collection, chart preparation, telephone triage, and authorization forms.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs.
• Prepare charts and handle telephone triage.
• Complete authorization forms and verify insurance information.
• Assist with obtaining 12 lead EKG/ECGs.
• Support the outpatient clinic with administrative duties as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant; cardiology experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• State licensing required (MA-C preferred but MA-R considered).
