Day shift: 3x12-hour (07:00 - 19:30) or Night shift: 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

The CVPICU Registered Nurse will provide specialized care for pediatric cardiac patients, managing complex medical and surgical procedures. The RN will work within a collaborative team, providing both direct and indirect patient care, and will play a key role in the assessment and management of critically ill children with congenital heart diseases.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for pediatric patients with congenital heart disease and related conditions.
• Manage complex medical therapies including ECMO, CRRT, and ventilatory support.
• Assist in postoperative care following cardiac surgeries, including hemodynamic monitoring.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including IV Teams, Respiratory, and Pharmacy.
• Educate and support families regarding the care of pediatric cardiac patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have 2 years of pediatric cardiac ICU experience.
• PALS and BLS certifications required (ACLS preferred).
• Current SC or multi-state/compact RN license.
• Experience with ventricular assist devices (VAD) is highly preferred.
