Day shift, 5x8 hours from 07:30 to 15:00, with rotating weekends once every four weeks.

Job Description

The Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for conducting echocardiograms in various settings including adult acute care, outpatient, emergency department, and ICU. This role requires proficiency in adult echo techniques, including but not limited to 2-D, 3-D echo, bubble studies, and transthoracic echocardiograms.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and assist in interpreting results.
• Administer contrast agents for imaging.
• Conduct routine and specialized echocardiograms, including transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE).
• Engage in weekend rotations and float between main campus and small campus as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years experience in echocardiography.
• Certification as a registered echo tech/cardiac sonographer (ARDMS RDCS, AE or CCI RCS) is mandatory.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with GE or Philips equipment is preferred.
• Proficiency in 3-D strain imaging and other advanced techniques like stress echocardiograms is a plus.
