Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiac telemetry and a strong background in managing various patient conditions. This role requires flexibility with scheduling, as there is a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and IV therapies as per protocols.
• Monitor and manage cardiac drips and vasoactive medications.
• Provide care for patients with various medical conditions including strokes, sepsis, and endocrine disorders.
• Perform central line care/management and PICC line management.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 during shifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, specifically in a Progressive Care Unit.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are preferred.
• Experience with cardiac telemetry and management of dysrhythmias is required.
• Proficient in peripheral intravenous line care and management.
• Ability to float between all necessary units as required.
