Job Description

The Ultrasound Technician will operate equipment that utilizes sound waves to create images of the body’s internal structures. The role involves creating accurate visual assessments of bones, organs, and tissues as part of the diagnostic imaging process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment.
• Prepare and assist patients during ultrasound procedures.
• Document and report imaging results accurately.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of hospital experience as an Ultrasound Technician.
• Current BLS certification.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification.
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification.
