Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery unit will provide comprehensive care to obstetrical patients, including those with high-risk pregnancies. This position requires knowledge and skills related to fetal monitoring, labor management, and post-delivery recovery.

Responsibilities

• Triage obstetrical patients and perform assessments.
• Conduct fetal monitoring and maintain central lines (CVC / PICC).
• Administer medications, including anticoagulants and insulin drips.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and participate in C-section procedures.
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and other related procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, STABLE, Fetal Heart Cert. OR CS Training are required.
• Preferred: AWHONN Intermediate, FHM, NRP.
