RN PACU Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour days, 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM, with 3 shifts per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified RN for the PACU department to provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in the specialty and be ready to fulfill holiday expectations as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care in a fast-paced PACU environment.
• Monitor patient recovery and respond appropriately to any complications.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding post-operative care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in PACU or a related specialty.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current PALS certification.

Winter Holiday Expectations

MUST work 1 major holiday of the 2: Christmas Day or New Year's Day, and 1 minor holiday: Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve.
