Monday - Thursday: 8 AM - 5 PM; Friday: 8 AM - 1 PM

Job Description

The Ultrasound Technologist will provide high-quality ultrasound examinations and assist in patient care in accordance with established protocols. The technologist will work collaboratively within a healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams as per physician requests and established protocols.
• Maintain patient records and ensure proper logging of ultrasound images.
• Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions.
• Educate patients on the procedure and provide comfort during examinations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the ultrasound specialty is required.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARDMS certification is required.

Winter Holiday Expectations

MUST work 1 major holiday of the 2: Christmas Day or New Year's Day, AND 1 minor holiday: Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve.
