Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Inpatient Rehabilitation Nurse to join our team at an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients during their rehabilitation process, ensuring their comfort and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care including medication distribution, wound care, and telemetry.
• Assist in the mobilization of patients and provide education on medication reconciliation.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1 depending on staffing levels.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Utilize standard nursing and rehabilitation equipment for patient transfers and daily activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Nursing License
• BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Experience in nursing skills such as IV starts, Foley catheter care, and medication management.
• Prior experience in an Inpatient Rehab Facility or Skilled Nursing Unit is preferred.
