Job Description

The Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) will provide quality nursing care in the surgical setting, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. The RN will work closely with the surgical team to facilitate effective patient care during a variety of procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to provide exceptional patient care.
• Monitor patient status during procedures and respond to changes as needed.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Document patient care and procedure details in EMR (Meditech ORM).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years OR Circulating Experience in an Acute Care Hospital.
• Varied skill set including cardiothoracic and vascular surgery.
• BLS Certification is required.
• CNOR Certification and neuro spine experience are preferred.
