Job Description

The Blood Cancer/BMT Unit is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in chemotherapy/biotherapy and hematology. The unit has 8 beds and a staff of 15, including both daytime and nighttime shifts. Patient ratios are 4:1, ensuring a focused and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy
• Conduct bone marrow transplant procedures
• Monitor cardiac conditions
• Manage blood administration

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certification
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License
• Experience in BMT/Bone Marrow Transplant and Hematology
• ACLS certification is preferred
