Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and be committed to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding health management.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Must be willing to work at least every other holiday.
• Completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
