Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Med/Surg Telemetry to provide quality patient care during night shifts at our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans accordingly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and patient care planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience is required.
• MUST HAVE a permanent Ohio nursing license or Compact State license in hand.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation.
