Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM with rotating night call and weekend days.

Job Description

The Travel RN will provide high-quality care to patients in the Post-anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal recovery following anesthesia. The RN will monitor patient status, manage pain control, and facilitate a smooth transition to the postoperative phase.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer medications and manage pain relief protocols.
• Perform assessments, document patient status and care delivered.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families regarding recovery processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required.
• MUST have an active compact license at submission.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
