Job Description

The Med/Surg Telemetry units provide comprehensive care for patients with medical, surgical, and telemetry needs. Nurses in these units should have a strong foundation in med/surg nursing, be skilled in telemetry monitoring, and be adept at managing a diverse patient population. This environment is engaging for nurses who can balance the demands of complex care in a high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients requiring medical and surgical treatments.
• Monitor telemetry for patients, including those with stroke needs.
• Manage diverse patient populations with various medical conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Nursing licensure required.
• Experience in med/surg nursing and telemetry monitoring is preferred.
• Completion of Bassett Core Competencies and Skills Checklist is needed for onboarding.
