Job Description

The Med/Surg Telemetry units provide comprehensive care for patients with medical, surgical, and telemetry needs. Nurses in these units should have a strong foundation in med/surg nursing, be skilled in telemetry monitoring, and be adept at managing a diverse patient population. These units offer an engaging environment for nurses who can balance the demands of complex care in a high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with GI issues, cardiac conditions, renal conditions, and confusion or altered mental status.
• Monitor and support stroke patients in a combined med/surg and stroke unit.
• Ensure high standards of patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Strong foundation in med/surg nursing.
• Experience in telemetry monitoring.
• Valid nursing license and certifications as necessary.
