CT Scan Tech - Radiology / Cardiology

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts, from 08:00 AM to 08:30 PM, working Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Job Description

The CT Scan Tech will be responsible for performing a variety of CT imaging procedures, primarily focusing on cardiac exams, while also supporting routine studies, stroke patients, and interventional radiology procedures in a Level 1 trauma center setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans on various regions of interest, primarily the abdomen, pelvis, and chest.
• Administer contrast media and prepare patients for procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to radiation safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams in the emergency department, ICU, and special procedures settings.
• Utilize the PACS system and Siemens equipment for image display and post-processing.
• Float between facilities as needed, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT imaging preferred; 6 months experience in a Level 1 trauma setting required.
• Current certifications: ARRT RT (R) (CT), BLS, and state license.
• Siemens CT equipment experience is essential.
• Radiation badge must be supplied by the agency.
