Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM).

Job Description

The CT Scan Tech will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient evaluation and treatment. The role requires expertise in a variety of imaging techniques and adherence to safety protocols while maintaining high-quality patient care in a Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center environment.

Responsibilities

• Performing CT scans on patients with various conditions, including trauma and outpatient scenarios.
• Administering contrast materials as needed while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Executing special procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, and interventional radiology tasks.
• Utilizing advanced imaging techniques like 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction.
• Maintaining documentation in the electronic health record system (Epic).
• Adhering to all radiation safety guidelines and isolation precautions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Tech, with at least 6 months in a Level 1 Trauma setting.
• Certifications: BLS, ARRT CT, ARRT R, and state license required.
• Experience with Siemens imaging systems preferred.
