Radiation Therapist - Varian Truebeam Experience Required

Job Description

The Radiation Therapist performs duties to accurately administer ionizing radiation to patients of all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric, in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the radiation oncologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiation therapy and simulations, utilizing Varian Truebeam technology.
• Effectively utilize treatment techniques including 2D, 3D, DIBH, IMRT, and SBRT.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Collaborate with the radiation oncology team to provide high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have experience with Varian Truebeam within the last year.
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• West Virginia state license is required.
• Ability to step up and lead sessions if working with less experienced RTTs.
