Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, Every other weekend required.

Job Description

Join our dynamic Emergency Department team! We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Nurse to deliver exceptional patient care in our fast-paced, high-volume environment. As a critical member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing care for patients with various complex medical needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in compliance with established protocols and medical practices.
• Participate in triage, cardiac monitoring, and internal processing within the ED.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care options.
• Respond to emergencies and be flexible in work assignments across the ED.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, including at least 1 year in an emergency department setting.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required by start date.
• Previous experience in a Level II trauma center or comprehensive stroke center is preferred.
