Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical/surgical nursing and telemetry, providing exceptional care to patients within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond to changes in their conditions.
• Perform standard medical surgical procedures including peripheral IV starts and dressing changes.
• Document nursing care and patient progress in the EMR system (Cerner Powerchart).
• Support a team-oriented environment by assisting colleagues as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have medical/surgical nursing experience and telemetry competency.
• Current BLS certification.
• Charge nurse experience preferred.
