Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide care for patients with a variety of emergency medical conditions. This role requires strong assessment and clinical skills to manage patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients upon arrival in the emergency room.
• Providing emergency medical treatment as needed.
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitoring patient vitals and documenting care in the Epic EMR system.
• Assisting with triage and fast track care as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a minimum of two years of ER experience, specifically in trauma Level I or II within the past three years.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS; TNCC preferred.
• Epic EMR proficiency is required and must have been used recently.
• Must comply with a 100-mile radius rule.
