Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Travel RN for our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent clinical skills to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial assessments and ongoing patient monitoring
• Administer medications and IV therapy
• Participate in sedation procedures
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to unit policies and procedures including patient and medication scanning

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Kansas RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Previous experience in a large Emergency Room setting
• Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred
