Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER)

Schedule

Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Weekend work required (3 out of 4 weekends per 4-week schedule).

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role within a Level I Trauma Center. The successful candidate will manage patients in a high-acuity setting, providing emergency care and contributing to a team dedicated to trauma response.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients in emergencies, including trauma and cardiac cases.
• Perform critical care procedures such as IV therapy, blood product administration, and procedural sedation monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Utilize the Epic charting system for patient documentation.
• Work with high patient ratios and adapt to varying levels of acuity.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience; Level I Trauma experience is required.
• Current state RN license.
• Certifications must include ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS. ENPC certification is preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting is mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
