Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a Charge NICU Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience. The nurse will be responsible for overseeing the NICU unit, attending high-risk deliveries, making patient assignments, and running multidisciplinary rounds. The nurse will work in a Level 3 or 4 NICU setting, providing care for premature and medically needy infants.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing and patient assignments within the NICU.
• Attend high-risk deliveries and provide immediate care as necessary.
• Run multidisciplinary rounds and provide oversight of unit operations.
• Manage care for neonates, including performing assessments, administering medications, and providing family support.
• Document patient care using Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Charge Nurse in a NICU setting.
• Current certifications in BLS and NRP preferred.
• Experience with medication administration, emergency medications, and neonatal dosage calculations.
