Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CT Scan Tech with experience in a variety of imaging procedures, particularly in cardiac and trauma settings. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality imaging services and ensure patient safety throughout the scanning process.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans on patients, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
• Administer contrast media when necessary and monitor patient responses.
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess and prioritize patient needs.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to radiation safety protocols.
• Document imaging procedures accurately in the Epic charting system.
• Float between various departments and facilities as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT imaging, with at least 6 months in a Level 1 trauma setting preferred.
• Current certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R), (CT), and state license (SCRQSA).
• Experience with Siemens CT equipment is a plus.
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency; facility does not supply badges.
