Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 1900 to 0730, 3 shifts per week.

Job Description

The Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive care to patients in an acute care inpatient oncology setting. The role includes administering chemotherapy, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating closely with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care strategies.
• Maintain documentation of patient care activities accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Chemotherapy certification required.

Winter Holiday Expectations

MUST work 1 major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve).
