Job Description

Join our 18-bed Renal Medicine unit as a Registered Nurse. This fast-paced environment requires providing care for patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis while maintaining proper staffing ratios and utilizing various medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage patient care for those undergoing peritoneal dialysis.
• Utilize EMR (Cerner) to document and oversee patient information.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Follow hospital policies and procedures to provide safe and effective care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure in North Carolina.
• BLS certification required.
• Preferred certification as a peritoneal dialysis nurse.
• Experience with Cerner EMR system is preferred.
