6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, 36 hours/week, alternating weekends.

Job Description

The Critical Care Nurse in the CICU is responsible for providing specialized care to critically ill patients. This position requires a strong background in ICU nursing, with an emphasis on advanced monitoring and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, making critical decisions to ensure their safety and care.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as Ventilators, Telemetry, Baxter IV Pumps, and others.
• Engage in procedures such as Cardioversion, Central line insertion, and others as indicated.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ICU experience required; familiarity with Ventilators, telemetries, and hemodynamics essential.
• Skills in Titration of Vesicant Meds, Pressors, and Sedation protocols necessary.
• Advanced skills in IABP, Impella, and CRRT appreciated but not required.
• CCRN certification recommended.
