Job Description

Join our dynamic Emergency Department team, where we prioritize teamwork and patient-centered care. We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The facility is a leading Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, with a focus on excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assist with triage, cardiac monitoring, and patient processing.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Utilize advanced nursing skills for patient assessments and interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient information using the Cerner system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS required before start date; ENPC within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in a high-volume ED with 100,000 visits or more preferred.
