Job Description

Join our dynamic Emergency Department as an Emergency Department Nurse, where you will provide critical patient care in a high-volume, Level 2 trauma center. You will work collaboratively with a diverse team in a challenging yet rewarding environment, serving a multicultural community.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department.
• Monitor patients and utilize advanced technology for patient management.
• Assist in triage and cardiac monitoring.
• Maintain effective communication with patients and families about care and treatment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an emergency room setting.
• Experience in a Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center strongly preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI certifications required before starting.
• NIHSS certification required before hire and ENPC within 90 days of hire.
