Shifts are from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. Our facility is licensed for 815 beds and recognized for providing the highest clinical quality in healthcare, ensuring a safe and patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support patient flow within the department.
• Utilize advanced equipment for cardiac monitoring and other emergency care needs.
• Ensure documentation and records are maintained accurately using Cerner.
• Adhere to hospital-specific patient experience standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting.
• Experience in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center preferred.
• Certifications required include ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS (to be obtained on or before hire date).
• ENPC certification within 90 days of hire.
