Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, specifically in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center. The facility is noted for its commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence, having received numerous national recognitions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, updating care plans and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure effective patient treatment and support.
• Engage in effective communication with patients and their families to enhance their care experience.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain certification and improve skills.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting.
• Experience in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center is necessary.
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS prior to the start date; ENPC within 90 days of hire.
• Strong teamwork mentality and ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback.
