Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a teamwork mentality and the flexibility to work in all areas of the ED. Responsibilities include delivering exceptional patient care and fostering a respectful environment for patients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio, increasing to 7:1 for behavioral holds.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as Baxter pumps and GE monitors.
• Document patient information using the Cerner system.
• Coach and give real-time feedback to team members to enhance patient care.
• Ensure compliance with required certifications and hospital policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years as a Registered Nurse, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting.
• Experience in a Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center preferred.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS (all required before starting date), ENPC within 90 days of hire.
