Schedule

Shift: 19:00 - 07:00. On-call requirements include 1 weekend out of every 6 weeks. Manager/Director will hold all other call dates.

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery unit is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care for expectant mothers and their newborns. The RN will work within a supportive team environment and participate in a variety of procedures related to labor, delivery, postpartum care, and special care nursery services.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor and delivery processes, including cervical ripening and induction of labor.
• Administer medications including MgSO4 and insulin drips as required.
• Provide care for postpartum patients and manage mother-baby couplets.
• Oversee special care nursery services and support NICU patients as needed.
• Maintain excellent communication with the healthcare team and family members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Experience in Labor and Delivery or Postpartum nursing within the last year is a must.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP required; STABLE is optional.
• Experience in special care nursery or NICU is preferred.
