Job Description

The Emergency Room (ER) is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience, particularly in Level I trauma settings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the emergency department.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform necessary procedures including IV therapy, phlebotomy, and sedation administration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
• Ensure effective charting using Epic and maintain accurate patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active state nursing license.
• ACLS, BLS, TNCC, ENPC, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency settings preferred; 1.5 years may be considered with the requisite skills.
• Experience with interpreting and managing dysrhythmias is necessary.
• Epic charting experience required.
