This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. On-call requirements include staying late 1-2 times per week.

Job Description

The position requires a Registered Nurse with specific cardio-thoracic experience. Certification is mandatory, and applicants must possess critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a high-acuity patient area.
• Perform large-bore IV starts, skin assessments, and assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placements.
• Transport patients to the OR and assist with induction/intubation and positioning.
• Document patient care effectively using Cerner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Mandatory certifications: BLS and ACLS.
• Excellent documentation skills required.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Critical thinking skills are essential.
