Job Description

The registered nurse will provide care in the Family Birth Center, specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. The role includes direct patient care for labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn nursery patients. The nurse will also assist with both obstetric and surgical patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients.
• Assist with mother-baby postpartum care.
• Monitor and assess newborns in the nursery.
• Collaborate with medical staff for patient treatment and care plans.
• Float to other units when census is low, providing support as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Required certifications: EFM, NRP, BLS.
• Completion of Relias modules is expected.
