12-hour shifts - Days (0645 to 1915) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will float between various medical and surgical units, providing patient care as needed. This role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to multiple environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in medical and surgical units.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Utilize Meditech EMR, pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes effectively.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely interventions.
• Float to the Medical Unit, Laulima Unit, and Cardiovascular Unit as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-10 years of nursing experience required.
• Active State of Hawaii license required by the start of the assignment.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (Preferred: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC).
