CVICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

12-hour night shift (1900 - 0730) including weekend rotation; must agree to participate in the call rotation.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced CVICU Registered Nurses who are also willing to provide coverage in the CCU. Our facility boasts two Cath Labs, including a Hybrid Cath Lab. Ideal candidates will have Day 0 CVICU experience and be committed to serving our community by providing high-quality care in a smaller independent hospital setting during the beautiful winter months in Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the CVICU and CCU.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform necessary interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding treatment plans and care transitions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Strong CVICU skills required.
• Current Colorado RN license in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 3 years of RN critical care experience required.
• Flu vaccination is mandatory from October 1st through April 1st for the current flu season, no declinations accepted.
