Shift: 07:00-19:00 with availability to work 19:00-07:00 as needed.

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care in a fast-paced labor and delivery unit. This role involves circulating in the operating room and assisting with various procedures, including C-sections and epidurals, while ensuring a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to patients during labor and delivery.
• Circulate during C-sections and assist with various labor procedures.
• Administer IV drips, such as magnesium, as needed.
• Participate in patient triage and ensure effective communication with the care team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Experience in a fast-paced labor and delivery unit.
• Scrub role and circulating experience in the operating room is helpful.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWOHHN.
