Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive maternal and infant care in a low to moderate volume Labor and Delivery unit. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously in a smaller department setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of both mother and baby care.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and manage labor monitoring effectively.
• Provide nursing support and care during higher acuity/high-risk cases.
• Float to MedSurg, CNA, secretary, or assisting roles as needed.
• Ensure a collaborative and supportive environment for all patients and staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced, BLS, FHM, NRP, Stable (preferred).
