Day 3x12-Hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00) with weekend coverage every other week.

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery unit is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to provide care in a low to moderate volume environment. The candidate will work within an LDRP unit, responsible for the care of both mothers and newborns during delivery and postpartum periods. The unit has approximately 100 births annually, which indicates a lower patient volume but includes high acuity cases requiring strong nursing skills and autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent nursing care to mothers and newborns in an LDRP setting.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Float as necessary to MedSurg and other areas of the hospital as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Certifications required: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced, BLS, FHM, NRP.
• Strong skills in fetal heart monitoring.
• Ability to work autonomously in a small department.
