Job Description

Join a Level II trauma NT/SICU unit specializing in neuro and trauma patients. This 12-bed unit operates on a 2:1 nurse to patient ratio and provides care for patients with Intracranial Pressure (ICP) monitors, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), and lumbar drains. You will also be required to float to the Cardiovascular Unit, Telemetry Care Unit, or Med/Surg units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critical care patients, ensuring high standards of care.
• Monitor patients with advanced medical equipment and perform necessary interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Float as needed to various units, ensuring continuity of care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 5 years of acute critical care experience.
• EPIC charting experience required.
• Experience in Level II trauma critical care.
• Current California RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
