Day Shift (0630-1900), three twelve-hour shifts weekly (36 hours). No guarantee of hours.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide continuous airway management, ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management, physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care.

Responsibilities

• Provide airway management and support for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
• Utilize computerized charting and Pyxis medication management systems.
• Administer and manage PB 980, PB 840 ventilators, V60, and Para Pac Transport Vent.
• Consult with physicians and coordinate patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy.
• Must possess an active State of Hawaii respiratory therapist license by the start of the assignment.
• Current certifications: RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS with NRP preferred.
• Flu vaccination or approved exception required prior to contract start date.
